Weekly reflection week 9

Ramere 28 Pipiri

Hello everyone,

For the last couple weeks we have been doing financial literacy.  My group is doing waffles and milkshakes.  We are selling milkshakes for 1.99 and waffles 2.50.  We have sorted what it is going to cost and what cost we are selling it for and logos.

This week as been pretty cool but the most exciting bit of everyone's wee was when we won the pizza on Monday because everyone brought in their forms for the spellathon.  And if that wasn't your most exciting part of your week it would probably be playing twister that was very uncomfortable at times of the most exciting part of the week was the beautiful welcome ceremony where the school welcomed all the new families.

This week at winter sport we versed St Francis of Assisi.  I was halfback as normally I made quite a bit of tackles and set up tries.  We tied 4-4.

Hers are some photos of the amazing week

This week was a very cool week here are our photos

Weekly update week 8

Friday 21 Pipiri

Hello everyone,

Today is a is Sparkle day!!!  Sparkle day is when everyone (not everyone) dresses up in sparkly clothes and be as kind as they can.  It is a fun day for most because everyone sings to 'Get your sparkle on' music off barbie.  I can't wait for assembly.

Another thing that I can't wait for is the Investec Super Rugby quarter final between The mighty Crusaders and the boring Highlanders (a warning for the Highlander fans you might need tissues!) Sorry for being mean Highlander fans.  But it will be a tough game because the Highlanders have their Smiths back.  Go the Crusaders!!!

weekly update Friday 14 June

Friday 14 June

Hello,

This week I have enjoyed the Black caps v  India World Cup cricket game but it got rained off which was very sad but at least the Black caps are top of the table.

The one thing I need to work on is schoolwork because I have only been here one day and I liked working on our inquiry.

I did not learn much because I was only here one day but in Fiji I learnt some Fijian like how to say hello and how to say thank you and how to say ssh.
