weekly reflection week 8

Ramere 14 Mahuru

Kia ora everyone,

This week our classroom finshed off badminton.  Badminon is a very fun game. This week we also started statistics.  We did dot graphs and diffent kinds of graphs.  I also think it has not been a very busy week for me because I have been sick.

I wonder if how long we will be doing statistics for. Will it be for the rest of the term? I wonder if it would be harder in maths next week most if it is easy for me.I wonder what we would do for R.E next week. This week we did what God looks like in the Old Testament (images of God).

I learned about statistics and it improved my maths skills with statistics it is very fun.I also learned what God looks like in the old testament.

weekly reflection week 3

Friday 10 August

Hi everyone,

This week I have been doing problem solving in Maths. My next step is to get faster at answering questions and better strategies.

This week was our second to last week of winter sport. But lucky my rugby team is going to Canterbury's.

This week I have been learning about what came before. The main focus in this topic is what came before uniforms what they used in the 1950's and 1960's.my next step is to find more information about what came before.

This week we have also been doing information reports on Ferry mead which I have already talked about my next step is to find more information about the topic.  I need to use more punctuation in reports and stories.

At Cantamaths which is problem solving my team came first!! Last week we came 2nd.

Term 3 Week 1 Reflaction

Hi everyone,

This is my weekly reflection.

This week I have been to Ferrymead for the first week back at school on the 24 of July on Tuesday. We leanred about the 1950s and 1960s.  We learned about entertainment and schools and heaps of stuff. But 1 thing I enjoyed was the school. Learning about what they did back then in the the olden days was cool.

What surprised me was the toys - they were fun and bad. The go kart and the stilts were wooden but they were very fun. And there was the falling man game and old fashioned pool which was fun.  As I said at the start I really enjoyed the school. He surprised us at the end with the cane - he whacked it on the chair at the back and scared me heaps.

Weekly reflection 1 June 2018

Good morning everyone

The highlight for me this week was probably be finishing off my last layer of my paper mache on my balloon. It has taken days and weeks - it has been quite long. One thing I would change would be having to do heaps of heaps of layers on my balloon. It takes forever just to do six layers on a single ballon.Something I learnt about was in my R.E. I loved learning about the early church.

Weekly reflection week 4

Friday 25 May

Hi everyone,

This week I have not enjoyed much because I have had an injured knee because I played rugby so I have missed winter sport and fitness.  What I enjoyed though is helping one of our teachers since I can't do winter sport .

An interesting fact about this week is was it was only the second week of sport and we had a win yay

A learning goal for next week is hopefully recover from my injury.

week 2 reflection

Hi everyone,

This is my week 2 reflection.

My first topic is CROSS COUNTRY!! I am just kidding 2.4km didnt sound really long to me but it was. I used to love it but it was a big diffence in how long it was from last year.  I can't rember how long it was when I was year 3 and 4 but I would way rather do 0.8 then 2.4km!!!  The year 1's don't now how lucky they are.  I was really nervous before the race - all nerves were up before the race. I hope I don't remember my first 2.4km race at Halswell Quarry.

week 1 reflection

Hi everyone,

This is my reflection for this week.  We have been learning about masks which have different meanings.  We are making a mask based on our kitchen chemistry from last term.  Then I thought  I would  make an egyptian type mask (which Egyptians used when someone had passed away it would be put on).  It is also called a death masks for different reasons.  It looks quite cool.  We have options to do our masks full half or just cover nose and eyes. I am going to do half. I am still working on my design - here is what I have done so far.
